Overview

Purchasing a custom-made dental appliance from Teeth Retain Design is not the same as buying an off-the-shelf product. Custom appliances require significant time, effort, and materials, which cannot be recouped.

Your appliance is crafted from a dental impression made by you or a scan sent by you. If your appliance does not fit correctly, it is due to an inaccurate impression or wrong scan, not faulty craftsmanship.

We are committed to working with our customers and will do our best to meet your expectations. Our goal is to create high-quality dental and orthodontic products, and we aren’t satisfied until you are.

Commitment to Fit Accuracy

Each appliance is custom-made from the dental impression or scan you submit.

  • Accurate impressions or scans result in a secure and comfortable fit.
  • Distorted or inaccurate impressions can result in a poor fit.
  • We encourage all customers to submit photos of their impression for review before mailing it back.

Initial Fit Expectations

New appliances, especially retainers or night guards, may feel:

  • Tight at first due to minor tooth movement between impression and delivery
  • Different from any previous device

Wear your appliance consistently for a few days. Most appliances adjust naturally and become comfortable.

Adjustment & Remake Policy

You are eligible for a free adjustment or remake if:

  • The appliance does not fit due to minor comfort or alignment issues
  • Your original impression was accurate
  • You contact us within 30 days of delivery
  • The device is unused, undamaged, and returned within 15 days

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance.

Covered under Warranty

  • Comfort or alignment adjustments
  • Breaks, cracks, or fractures
  • Denture tooth loss

Not Covered

  • Loss or damage due to neglect or abuse
  • Discoloration or normal wear
  • Hypersensitivity issues

Refunds

Due to hygiene and customization, all custom devices are non-refundable.

If your device does not fit, you may retake your impression one time. Teeth Retain Design will remake a new device at no charge. The original non-fitting device must be returned within 15 days and show no signs of wear or damage. A 25% restocking fee applies if a refund is issued.

Impression Kits

  • If you cancel your order after receiving an impression kit, you are responsible for the kit cost: $14.95.
  • Denture kits include 2 dental impression kits and cost $39.95.
  • Sleep Apnea Connectors are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
